Jesus the righteous Judge 

Series 01: Explore the book of Matthew looking at the theme of Jesus being both righteous and the true Judge who will judge the living and the dead

Core themes

In this series you will cover sin, atonement, justice, grace, how we are to treat others in light of the mercy we have received, culminating in the significance of the crucifixion, resurrection, pouring out of the Holy Spirit and great commission.

This covers a lot of ground! Through this series you wlil give the children a solid foundation of many of the core beliefs of the Christian faith.

Worship & Prayer

At points throughout the series, there are suggested times of sung worship and suggested songs for this. There's also opportunity to share the bread and wine together. Each week has a prayer activity and from weeks 4 to 11, you will be encouraged to pray for the same friend who does not know Jesus each week, climaxing in week 10 with praying for one another to be empowered by the Holy Spirit and in week 11 commissioned to go and share Christ with the friends you have been praying for.

Games & Crafts

Every week has at least one suggested game and a craft activity. Some weeks have short starter games and extra teaching activities as well as the Bible story.

There is also a handy list of extra games at the end of the pack (Resource 10) for those moments when the children need to let off a little more steam or the serice runs on a few extra minutes!

Samuel: A New Kind of Priest

Series 02: Explore the way that God raises a faithful child to guide His people at a time when others had stopped trusting God

Core Themes

The recurring themes for this series are faith and trust in God. We will see how mighty our Godis to deliver and save when we humble ourselves before Him. Other themes include repentance, atonement and being anointed witht the Holy Spirit.

Worship and Prayer

There are opportuinities for worship, sharing the bread and wine and prayer. There are also some prophetic activities and opportunities to pray for healing and to be filled with the Holy Spirit as we look at how God's Spirit anointed Samuel, Saul and David.

Games and Crafts

Every week has at least one game and a craft activity. There is also a handy list of extra games at the end of the pack (Resource 10) for those moments when the children need to let off a little more steam or the serice runs on a few extra minutes!
